Head Product Marketing & Communications in Investment Manangement
JOB DECRIPTION:
* Lead and coach a team of 5-7 Product Marketing specialists * Take responsibility for and ownership of the positioning and promotion of the IM Division and its products, both within Julius Baer and vis-à-vis our clients * Collaborate with Group Marketing and other divisions on firm wide initiatives * Ensure excellent quality of marketing collateral and services provided by the team * Be on top of competitor developments and industry trends * Lead strategic initiatives and projects in a dynamic business environment related to marketing, change and communication topics
The tasks of the IM Marketing & Communication team are:
* Ownership and management of the central content management system (censhare; core system for content management and publishing that aims at providing a “golden source” and ensures consistency) as well as internal tools and websites presenting the Investment Management division and its products * Sales support (preparation of bespoke client presentations and RfPs as well as supporting relationship managers and internal sales teams with special client pitches) and management of related dynamic data * Development of marketing strategies, storylines and supportive materials for all stages of client lifecycle (e.g. sales presentations, pitch books, factsheets, tactical marketing and sales supportive measures, product terminations, etc.) * Ownership of CIO communication efforts (incl. periodic publications, ad-hoc calls and further channels, as needed) * Management and further development of all channels for internal communication to front regions (e.g. quarterly update events for relationship managers, monthly newsletter, education events, etc.) * Internal communication and preparation of respective activities, incl. bi-annual townhalls of the Investment Management division * Responsibility for regulatory compliance of all communication and marketing collateral (global distribution), and adherence to policies and procedures
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* University degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Marketing or a comparable field * 10+ years of professional experience, of which 5+ years in Marketing and Communication in a financial services company * Strong knowledge and/or experience of financial products (funds and/or mandates) would be an asset * Interest in financial markets and solid knowledge of investment concepts * Excellent business and investment writing skills for different audiences and channels (e.g., print, web, event scripting, etc.) * Strong written and verbal communication skills in English as well as German and/or French * CFA and / or professional marketing qualification would be an asset * Leadership experience either through line management or comparable project management roles * Proactive personality that is capable of responding to ad-hoc requests and has ability to meet multiple deadlines * Team player who works flexibly and collaboratively with focus on the success of the overall team * Proven planning, time management and organisational skills * Confidence in stakeholder engagement and experience in interacting with senior management * Ability to work independently, and to collaborate with other divisions in the bank * High degree of creativity and attention to detail
