The Challenge

You will be the Global Aquaculture Marketing Manager within the Animal Nutrition and Health Division (ANH) of DSM. While technical understanding is important, the role is a business marketing role and the successful candidate will be required to build and execute the global strategy on relevant insights and market/customer understanding. You will also work in close connection with the Global Innovation, R&D teams and other functions. This is a strategically important position and you will exert significant influence by performing a mission critical role in one of our largest business units.

The Position
- Develop and manage the execution of the aquaculture business strategy .
- Drive the DSM purpose led strategy and embed sustainability as a business driver in aquaculture.
- Drive aquaculture innovation: coordinate, develop and give direction to ensure timely delivery of new business opportunities
- Support and be a part of regional and country aquaculture business teams around the world in the deployment and execution of the strategy
- Facilitate all other relevant functions (operations, commercial, R&D,) to ensure successful execution of the strategy.
- Directly manage 1 -2 global aquaculture key accounts
- Responsible for the global marketing, communication and advocacy of the DSM aquaculture business on a global stage

The Ideal
- Ph.D or M.Sc in Aquaculture, Animal Nutrition and Health, Veterinarian science
- A minimum of 10 years working experience in aquaculture business with at least 5 years in marketing
- Ability to understand customers’ needs and translate those into tangible business opportunities
- Understand technical contexts of the aquaculture industry and be able to translate these into strategic business opportunities
- Strong marketing skills
- Experience leading project teams and product launches
- Strong business acumen with problem-solving capabilities
- Demonstrable leadership and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in English; any other language is of advantage
