Corporate Events Manager

The role will support our Tournaments & Events Division; FIFA is looking to recruit a creative and independent event producer. This dynamic role will involve everything from generating ideas and assembling the right team to seeing the project through to the final stages of production.

Corporate Events Manager

Your duties
• Leading corporate events projects and coordinate all operations
• Planning event from start to finish according to requirements, target audience and objectives
• Preparing budgets and ensuring adherence as well as approving all aspects before the day of the event
• Coming up with suggestions to enhance the event’s success
• Supervising all staff (event coordinators, caterers etc.)
• Ensuring event is completed smoothly and step up to resolve any problems that might occur and analyse the event’s success and preparing reports
• Communicating with external and internal parties: suppliers, venues and local partners as well as concerned FIFA departments
• Regular reporting on project progress, update and alignment of all stakeholders
• Managing the implementation process related to FIFA Corporate Events
• Sourcing and negotiating with vendors and suppliers
• Ensuring appropriate technical infrastructure at the venues, in cooperation with technical services and operations
• Ensuring outstanding client journeys around all events by closely co-operating with guest management, travel, transport and accommodation departments

Our requirements
• Studies or training in marketing, tourism, communications or event management
• Five years` experience in event and/or project management
• Experience with organizing corporate events, congresses, conventions, summits and shows
• Good project management and organisational skills
• Fluent in English; preferable also good German, French and Spanish
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Ability to think and act in a structured and conceptual manner
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
• Good analytical and conflict resolution skills and ability to work in a team
• Ability to set priorities effectively as well as working under pressure
• Quick grasp of new tasks and high level of flexibility
• Willingness to travel
