For our accounting & tax department in Basel-Stadt, we are looking immediately or later on for an

Accounting Clerk 50% - 60% m/f

We are looking for a dedicated person for our accounting team for supporting and cooperating various Transactional Accounting Tasks for the Management Company in Basel.

Your core tasks are:

Transactional Accounting for the Management Company in Basel:
• Scanning/Booking (incl. allocation of cost-center, object-account,
VAT-code): in- and out-going invoices/credit-notes for accounts
receivables/payables (3rd party and Intercompany); accruals;
general ledger bookings; banks; special cases; corrections/re
classes; recharges Management-Fees
• Payments: accounts payables; IHB and 3rd party bank payments
via various electronic payment platforms
• Support monthly Intercompany reconciliation process for Balance
Sheet and Profit & Loss Statement
• Support monthly IFRS CREST-Group-reporting ex ERP-system MS
Dynamics NAV 2015 (Navision)
• Support and resolving problems/changes in the electronic workflow
• Execute various accounting and administration work (e.g. monthly
details/analysis of the B/S accounts etc.)
• Involvement in projects that arise

Personal skills and experience:
• Several years experience in a similar position in an accounting
department of an international service company in Switzerland
desired
• Completed commercial apprenticeship or business diploma
• (Enhanced) accounting knowledge
• IFRS knowledge desirable (but not a must)
• Basic knowledge (CH) Value Added Tax
• Passion for numbers
• Team player, able to work under pressure, flexible
• Business English fluent oral and written (company language =
English), German oral
• Affinity for IT-systems
• Knowledge of MS-Office (especially Excel + Word) for Independent
application
• used IT-systems: Navision (MS Dynamics NAV 2015) – HABEL
Dokumentenmanagement - IFRS CREST-Group-reporting (being
based on SAP); knowledge is an advantage but not a must
• Swiss Resident or EU Citizen mandatory
